Why shape change is better than weight loss
BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURES ARE SUCH A POWERFUL VISUAL.
Claire has made an incredible transformation. I’ve posted her transformation before, with previous ‘after’ pictures. These are her most recent photos, taken this week.
Since the last photos in January, Claire wanted to focus on her shape. This photo shows that in just a few months, the right kind of training can make a huge difference to your shape.
Weight training for women is an excellent fat burning method, but some exercises can actually lead to worse posture, or weakening core.
WHAT WOULD YOU SAY IF I TOLD YOU THOSE LEG RAISES MAY ACTUALLY BE MAKING YOUR MID SECTION WEAKER?
Through proper training, Claire was able to apply real core strength to the best exercises to help shape her figure, and this meant that she could can how use her mid-section in heavy squats, as well as use the muscles around her shoulders to improve her deadlift. This is something that is sometimes blocked by poor posture, or lack of muscle connection.
Claire has actually only lost 9-10lb in this picture. She’s also dropped 2 dress sizes. This speaks volumes about weight loss is not the same as fat burning. You need to build healthy muscle to burn body fat.
These progress photos really highlight how the right kind of training can not only help you lose ‘weight’ but can improve your shape. Claire’s posture here has been completely reversed.
Personal training needs to address your postural imbalances, so that you can do all the best workouts.
It’s not about coming in and getting ‘beasted’. Its about intelligent training.
No gruelling ab workouts were performed in this time.
